VISION INSURANCE

EyeCare Optical accepts several vision insurance plans including

 

These plans provide coverage or discounts for eye exams, frames, and lenses.

 

It is your responsibility to check your benefits. EyeCare Optical will submit insurance claims on your behalf, but you are responsible for copays, deductibles, and material costs not covered by your plan.

Major Medical Plans

 

EyeCare Optical accepts the following major medical plans for eye exams:

  • United HealthCare

  • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • WPS

  • HealthEos

  • Fortis

 

Your major medical plan (United, Blue Cross, Humana, etc.) may provide coverage for an eye exam but they do not provide coverage for frames and lenses. Many major medical plans partner with EyeMed to handle vision insurance claims. Check your plan or call the customer service number located on the back of the card for more information.

FLEX PLANS (FSAs) and Benny Cards

Yes, you can use your flex dollars and Benny Cards at EyeCare Optical for eyewear. Prescription glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses are an eligible medical expense for flex accounts or FSA’s.

If you need additional copies of your receipt(s), please call our office with your name, and we’ll send you a copy of your receipt. Your receipts are always itemized and meet all requirements for submittal to your insurance plan or FSA provider.
